The Color Of My World

You will show me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore

  (Psalm 16:11)

Blue skies once again…

CIMG1215055 - Copy (2)

I walked down into the forest and leaned against a crooked pine

I turned my face toward the heavens, and felt the warmth of sunshine

I closed my eyes and felt the shadow, of a cloud covering the light

The warmth had turned to coolness, like the day into night

When I opened my eyes to bright sunshine once again…

I wondered…

Should I stay and hope for blue skies, or seek shelter for fear of rain?

What's your color palette? Does it ever change? ...Mine does!
Are your skies clear today?

Beautiful reassuring words, Lisa. I love the Psalms verse at the beginning of the post. "Should I stay and hope for blue skies, or seek shelter for fear of rain?" -- very thought-provoking. And your gorgeous fall photos -- I'll store them in my brain's memory card so that I can retrieve them and see them in my dreams. :-)

Have a marvelous weekend and God bless ❤❤❤ :-)

God created a colorful, beautiful world for us to enjoy, and we are called to shine God’s light to bring out the God-colors in the world. :)

Love your beautiful pictures Lisa; our skies are clear and blue (and colorful! here. :)

Enjoy a blessed weekend dear lady!

Lately, my life skies have been cloudy with touches of sunshine. The words you shared today were very poetic and inspiring. I enjoyed reading them, and the photos were lovely as well.

Thank you for sharing the beautiful words and pictures! The colors are definitely changing to fall beauty around here, cool and refreshing after the summer's heat.

Hi Irene,

I love that Psalm as well. I struggle with depression sometimes, and that Psalm is one that really helps lift my spirit by reminding me where true joy comes from!

Hi Denise,

I am reminded of what Romans 1:20 says~ how God is revealed through what He created.
Glad your skies are clear ~ We've had non stop rain for nearly 3 days! But I kinda like it...;)

Hi Mara,

My [life] skies are always that way too. I think without those clouds, we wouldn't appreciate the touches of sunshine as much maybe?

Hi Delisa,

Thank you for the compliment. We were blessed today with a bright blue sky, so I took a few more pictures! I thought, after yesterdays wind storm, and all the non-stop rain, there would be nothing left out there. I was wrong. God just keeps giving more and more!
Love In Christ,
