OUR REFUGE AND FORTRESS

Millions of people are bracing for Hurricane Sandy, a mega- storm coming into the US via the east coast, sometime tomorrow evening.

This storm is predicted to be huge, and very damaging.

~Father God, we pray that no lives will be lost, keep your people who call out to you safe through this storm.~ In Jesus' name~ Amen!

Deuteronomy 31:6

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

Psalm 91:1-16

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, ...

Nahum 1:7

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.

May God be with everyone out there on the west coast....prayers and love for safety and refuge! Hopefully Sandy does not make land fall, but rather just goes out to sea. Beautiful encouraging verses Lisa! :)

Blessings dear friend,
Denise

I'm watching some feeds on the storm and it looks like it will be very bad. Praying and praying for all who will be touched by this storm.

Blessings,
