Sometimes I can be careless with my words...Whether written or spoken.
It is not always easy to know what to say or how to say it.
Perhaps that is why is it best to talk to God first.
And then, having talked to God, I will listen and speak His Words instead of my own...
Especially when I am not sure of what to say...Doing this seems so much less complicated doesn't it?

~Blessings & Love~

Yes, yes, yes... so less complicated. Not that I feel as if your written words here are ever wrong or negative, just saying yes, I get what you're saying. (((hugs)))

Hi Lisa, our prayers are truly a precious means of communication. But at the same time don't beat yourself too much for saying the wrong thing with family and friends. I have been through this myself. When we are enduring a trial, we may not have the energy to always express ourselves the way we want to. And, normal anger and frustration about our situation sometimes build up and those we love the most who are nearest to us, are often the ones who bear the brunt. Even Job, said some very wrong things and drew some wrong conclusions about others and even God, when he was in pain. God did not hold those things against him, he helped him, encouraged and corrected, like a loving Father.

But you are so right that if we pray first, chances are when we go to talk with our loved ones we will be far likely to say what is really on our hearts, not just our emotions. Sometimes when we are the most vulnerable and need the most support, we can get the most hurt by even the slightest bit of misunderstanding. Just remember that is what love is for, as the scriptures say "It covers a multitude of sins". Have a restful day ahead! With Love, Delisa :)

Thanks for this advice, Delisa....You are right...when our energy is down, it is hard sometimes to try to work out all the complexities of the relationships with those we love...Especially when they are used to our normal ability to do so. It can be overwhelming and exhausting at times!
I trust God will help things to get smoothed over in time...and with His Words to guide us.

Thanks Deanna...I am trying to remember to keep it real, yet be careful to keep it gentle...I never want to hurt feelings, but sometimes misunderstandings arise...I just don't always have the energy nowadays to work things out...Picking my battles!

One of the things that struck me recently, was how I was rambling on about my feelings (which is OK to do)...But, I was not going to God first...I needed to filter them through Him first...Then misunderstandings and confusion would not happen so easily!
I am well...little tired, but feeling good!

This I am learning...Always learning to involve God first...In everything we do!
I know I will need to be reminded of this again and again though. <3

I love you too, my Dear friend and sister...Words are precious when we learn how to use them to bless the ones we love.
