Another Anniversary!

Wow...two anniversaries in one week!

Our 31st Wedding Anniversary will be this Sunday, March 23rd...and

My beloved husband gifted me with a new Cannon digital camera! (He couldn't wait)

So, I am sharing some photos with you today...

This is where I study

This is the prayer shawl I received from the Cancer Society

Another gift from my dear husband many years ago

Birds and Dogwood blooms

A picture of my Mother and Grandmother

From where I often sit and pray

Looking up from my window seat where I pray

I did not let this sleeping dog lie!

Jeff took these two of Sasha in her favorite spot

An old church in our area, built in 1919
Somebody loves getting his picture taken
I had a hard time making him sit still for this one!
Most of the photos I have taken for this blog were with an old smart phone...How old? you might ask... (we were beta testers for the very first smartphone...that old!)
And it finally stopped working properly. The other camera that I sometimes used (a 35mm Sony digital) did not zoom very well, and it ate through batteries like crazy! ...So I was in need of a new camera.
Thank you Jeff....Happy Anniversary, My Love...
An Anniversary prayer from this morning's prayer reading:
O God, you have so consecrated the covenant of marriage that in it is represented the spiritual unity between Christ and his Church: Send your blessing upon Jeff and Lisa, that they may so love, honor, and cherish each other in faithfulness and patience, in wisdom and true godliness, that their lives together may be a witness to your love and forgiveness, and that their home may be a haven of blessing and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. leaf graphic

Thanks, Lisa...This is where I am sitting right now...and the area under the cross/ where I prayed for you and many others just this morning.
I love my new is so easy to use, but I'm sure it will take me a while to learn everything...if I ever do learn everything it does!

Congratulations on your 31st anniversary! Definitely something to celebrate and rejoice about. I loved the photos you shared... every single one. The doggie pics are sooooo cute. What a blessing to have a husband who is God-fearing and loving.

If you have time, visit this post - a letter I wrote my hubby on our 30th anniversary (I absolutely had no way of knowing it was going to be our last, so I am sure it was Abba Father who inspired me to write it).

Thank you Lisa. Your life story is a blessing to me. Happy Spring!

Thanks for directing me to read your letter...I left you a comment there.
Such a beautiful letter...God was so good to inspire you to write it...the best gift you could have given Ernie for your anniversary.
You are such a blessing to me as well...Spring is still hiding...we got two more inches of snow last night! But this is the day that the Lord has made, so we will rejoice in it!

What a lovely space for you to sit and pray and is nice to be able to picture you sitting there. I temporarily lost my spot as we are in the process of rearranging the apartment...I look forward to having a cozy spot once again. The church is it. And your Sasha is precious. Happy anniversary to you and your love...a new camera is a wonderful gift....enjoy.

There is nothing more precious than sitting quietly with Our Lord and see His work so closely through the windows of our heart. I have read all your other posts, and praising Our Lord that this door is now closed and you are now in remission. Getting stronger as Our Lord continues to give you strength! I am so glad to have read your words again Lisa... many blessings and quiet times to you, mari
