I always tell my friends this Lisa. What is that Bible verse about all things working for the greater good? Sometimes it isn't until we are long down the road before we understand why things happen. Sometimes were never do. You just have to have faith!

Hi Lisa,
as soon as I read your post title on my blog list Deuteronomy 29 v. 29 came to my mind:-
'The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our sons forever, that we may observe all the words of this law.'
I all too often try to figure life out, to answer all the questions, to fix all the things that upset me. I all too often lean on my own understanding - which is rather ironic as God gave me Proverbs 3:5-6 as my *life verses*!! Oh, that I would learn to lean on His wisdom, even when I can't understand what He's doing or why...

That is an excellent verse, Brenda! Yes, we should remember this when people expect us to answer questions that only God has the answers to.
That is one of those verses that I too often forget myself...Oh if only I would always lean on Him and not try to figure everything out on my own! It is exhausting, lol!
