Can’t wait until bed-time!

Could it be? Is it really?…Spring is here! And I have been waiting to do this all winter long…Dry my down comforter on the line!!!YAY!!!

Our little cottage in the forest.

The dogs were running all over…It was hard to get a shot of them in one place!

I found a bit of green, but no buds yet…

Well, except for one!

You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.

I'm so happy to hear that you are seeing signs of spring.. The first sign for me is clothes on the line.. I hang them out all spring and summer.. Love the smell of those bed linens.. Hope you enjoy and take care. Blessings, Susie

Hi Lisa,
How nice you hung your comforter out on the line!! I love that smell and usually I can't fall asleep with line dried bed covers because I want to keep on sniffing them. :) I bet yours smell amazing with all those nice trees around.

Beautiful place you have and glad to hear the eagle worked.

Feels very much like summer here...I had to turn on my ac window unit. Its so old...I was praying it would still get cold...did the trick...thank the Lord. Your woods are beautiful. I too live among the woods, but can't go exploring :( My body won't let me. Your cottage looks beautiful and very cosy. Blessings

Hi Lisa,
Wow, I referenced the same passage from Isaiah as you did in my post today. I am praying with you for the victims in the Boston bombing.
BTW, where I live, we cooled down these last few days from the 90's to the 70's. But we are suppose to be back in the mid 90's this weekend. Summer is here in Arizona. 110 degree plus right around the corner. All is good though. I like summer. It looks like you live in a pretty nice place.
Take care and God bless,

You're truly blessed to live in a little cottage surrounded by nature. I would love to go "roaming around" in those fields.

Spring is here, but the weather is still rather chilly for spring time.

Hi Maria,
The rain is expected later today although it is sunny right now...glad I dried my linens on the line yesterday. It is one chore I really enjoy too.

Hi Susie,

I did notice the tulips are coming up too...that will be nice to see!

Hi sweetie,
The cedar pines do lend a wonderful scent into the air, I love it!

I slept very nicely last night ;)
The robin has actually figured out that the eagle isn't real...yet it still thinks it's reflection is another robin (go figure) I have hung a picture of a pheasant in the window (backup for the eagle, LOL!) But last night Buddy got startled by the robin at the window and knocked over the eagle...first casualty in this war thus far :(

Hi Shelly,
I know we complain here about the cold, but I am glad we do not get too hot (normally), as it is so hard to get cool! Our old AC unit is still rattling on (literally)...hopefully it can take another summer.
It is nice that you have the wooded backdrop to your property, as it helps with the heat and the cold both to have trees nearby!
No matter where I live I must have at least one tree, and that is my forest! We moved from a property 20 years ago where the only trees where the 3 that we planted in the front yard! What a change huh?
I do love the simplicity of a small home though, and although it is old and always needs is not too much for us to handle...though we both would be content living in one room as long as there is a garage (or shed) for the hubby to retreat into occassionally, LOL! ~God bless~

Thank you Denise...Always appreciate your praying for me, and you know I am praying for you and your husband as well! I need do some blog visiting today...Buddy wants to see what Coco is up to!

Hi Deanna,

Since I was a child, I could never resist running my hand over moss, of course I still do this!

Hi Ken,
It is so upsetting...I told my husband it is sickening to watch our city streets on TV looking like the streets of Lybia! My heart is sick about this, and when I looked for a passage for comfort I finally landed on that one from Isaiah!
I have a neighbor who lives in AZ, but owns the cottage next to us. She tried to stay here as long as she could two years ago, but could not take the cold past October! She plans on trying to homestead here though if she can get the funds that she needs...She is a true nature lover, and is intrigued by all the wildlife.
It's good that you like summer...I don't think I could handle those temps for long myself! Although the cold gets harder to deal with the older we get too.~God bless~

Hi Lisa,
what a beautiful place to live, reminds me of the 'Hansel and Gretal' story my father used to tell me when I was a child. Truly blessed

Hi Mara,

I do count my blessings, and although I might sometimes wish we were not so far from everything, I know it would be hard to give up our little place here. Yes, it does appear that Spring will be sticking around for a while...although the temps are only expected to be in the 40's F. this weekend! ~God bless~

Hi Brenda,

Oh how I loved those tales when I was a child! I think I always knew that someday I would live in a forest cottage with my prince! I just have to learn to live in peace with all the bugs (especially the wood spiders that live here too!) After 20 years, they still send me running and screaming, LoL! ~God bless~

The fresh aired smell of your comforter must be pure bliss. I can not wait to be able to actually say it is Spring...and have my windows open.

I love sleeping on sheets that have been air dried! :-) I was enjoying the nice weather until the wind kicked up. Now I'm hibernating inside again until it passes.

Thank you for commenting on my blog. Nice to know you are reading.

Hi. The place looks great. I love the feel of a house near the woods. Thanks for the visit. God bless you!

I tried opening the windows a couple days ago but it got too chilly! And with this long dragged out winter the heating bill is high I am spending time underneath that wonderful comforter these past couple of days, LOL!

Never Forsaken said...

Hi Georgene,

I have been hibernating under that comforter for the past two days now as it has been chilly and storming!

I enjoy your blog and will visit often :)
