Just a quick post as we are on our way to take our boy, Buddy to the vet in a few minutes.
He has stopped eating for several days now ( reduced eating for a few weeks)and his weight has dropped drastically!
Please say a little prayer for him..he will be nine years old in November, so he is still not very old.
That's all for now..I will come back with an update soon.

*UPDATE*
There is a problem with his liver. It's too soon to know whether it is curable (can be reversed) or something more serious like cancer. More test will be done next week. He lost twenty pounds and is slightly anemic and has jaundice. He was given a shot of antibiotic, vitamins, and cortisone for his skin disorder which has also flared up (unrelated to his liver problem).

It's only been two days and he is doing so much better already! He is eating and acting more like himself again! Praise the Lord..Our prayers continue..Thank you.

Lisa, I pray that the Lord step in and save little buddy from all these sicknesses. My lovely little cat Tinker had been coughing constantly for over two years and the vets did their very best, but nothing changed, so I stopped taking her there about six months ago.
Then, about a month ago she was healed through prayer by the Lord, and I pray that the same will happen for Buddy.

Thank you, Brenda..It has been only two days and he is doing so much better already! Actually he woke up yesterday morning very hungry, and that was even before he had meds to stimulate appetite. God answers our prayers, although not always the way we would like, but sometimes when its part of his plan, he will truly give us the desires of our hearts!

Hi, Aritha..We have been treating him with meds and homemade dog food..so far we are successful! His vet says that he is still at risk, so we are cautiously optimistic.

Brenda, I was just realizing tonight, that Our Lord fully healed Bud..He took him home to wait for me there. Jesus must have built me a place, and said to himself..This place needs another sweet dog to make it more homey for Lisa when she gets here!
