I know, it is sad to think of the bird losing his life, but they are so very yummy!
We have so many turkeys here...they are often running across the roads and roosting on rooftops!
They are funny to watch also.

I know how you feel. It is deer hunting season here in Michigan also, and although we enjoy having venison in our freezer, I am always so very sad that these animals have to lose their lives...Thankfully most hunters are very respectful and humane concerning their methods for hunting.
