Mama-Mia and Happy Birthday, Buddy!

Meet Mama-Mia..Our new kitty adopted from our local shelter.
Her time was running out and when I saw her online, I just knew she was for me!
At just two years old, she is a big kitty that just loves to cuddle with everyone.
This is an answer to my prayer of more than three years ago when I got sick and really wanted a cat to snuggle with, and she is the cuddliest little thing I've ever met!!
It took me this long to work up the courage to step into that shelter for the first time in over thirteen years.
(Which is when I adopted Sasha)
I'm so glad I did this..
The dogs both love her!
It's weird, but she acts as though she's always been a part of our family.

I also think she makes a great birthday gift to Buddy who just turned seven today!

Happy Birthday Bud!

     & remember, we are...

Gorgeous isn't she? Oh how lovely to have a dog and cat, we can't have pets since we moved into a kind of individual apartment. Buddy just melts my heart, he looks so sleek and shiny as well as being a complete 'softie'.
So glad they bring you joy...I hope you are doing well these days.
PS what a stunning background to your blog!

Hi Lisa,
Give Buddy a big hug from me for his birthday. Mama-Mia is absolutely beautiful. We adore cats and we have always had ours from the rescue centre, Cats Protection. We had one that lived for twenty four years, she was a brindle. The one we have at the moment is suffering a bit from coughing - it could be from all the building work that we have had going on. God willing, she will recover soon. I am not surprised that Mama- Mia has settled in well at your home, you are true animal lovers.
God bless you Lisa, and all your furry family.

I was surprised Bud wasn't scared of her..that is usually how he reacts to other animals..well, except for squirrels and chipmunks.

Thanks, Chelle..We just love her!

Hi Alex!
I am sorry your building won't allow pets..but I think if it were me I would feed the birds and have to get a fish or something, lol.
I'm doing well, thank you.
The background is a photo I took of our favorite place to camp was sunset on a cold spring evening over the lake.

Bud says "thanks for the hug, Brenda!"
Praying your kitty's cough is nothing serious.
God bless you too!

Mama Mia is simply adorable. And so is Buddy. It is amazing that they all get along well... considering that Mama Mia is new. She must just feel so happy to have a home where she belongs. So happy for you. A perfect Christmas present. Much love, Lidia
